Normal Website Usage

You can visit all public areas of The Leprosy Mission Australia’s website without identifying yourself.  As you browse, the only information we may typically collect from your visit is the name of your Internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the website that referred you to us, the pages you request and the date and time of those requests.

This information is collected on an aggregate basis.  We use it for internal review only and do not share it with outside parties.  We use it to measure site activity and to improve the quality of our site for the future use of our visitors.

Private Areas

If you log onto private areas of our website (for example, as a registered donor), additional information will be tracked, such as the pages visited and requests for specific information.  Such data would be used to attempt to provide updated information on areas of interest to you when you return to the site.

We do not collect any other information – such as the name, mailing address, email address, or phone number of the visitor – without the visitor’s knowledge and permission.

Your Privacy Secured

Personally identifiable information that you provide in this way will not be given to any other organisation.  The Leprosy Mission Australia does not sell, rent or exchange names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, or postal addresses.  Nor do we disclose any financial information to partners or any other third parties.

The Leprosy Mission Australia website will not post personal contact information of volunteers, including their email addresses, street addresses, and phone numbers, without that individual’s consent.
