As I write this, our team is preparing to set up new labs and health centres in Oecusse, isolated from the rest of Timor-Leste. We hope to start visiting villages and conducting mass screenings very soon to find the remaining hidden cases of leprosy in the country.

Your love and generosity are such a key part of making this all happen.

I hope to share with you soon the stories of people whose lives you are changing. It’s an amazing thing to see hope rise in someone’s eyes when they find out they can be cured. To see parents weep for joy over a child they thought was cursed.

I’m so grateful to you for showing God’s love through your kindness. Thank you again for helping to stamp out the fear, the shame and the pain of living with leprosy... and for bringing new hope and healing to young lives.
