Nepal is once again experiencing the devastating impact of severe flooding, driven by environmental change and rising temperatures.
More than 1,000 people have lost their lives and countless others have been displaced. Homes, livelihoods and essential services have been damaged or destroyed. Among those impacted are people affected by leprosy, people with disabilities, women and children, and older people.

While our partners are not directly coordinating emergency relief, they are working tirelessly to ensure vulnerable families are not forgotten in the aftermath of this disaster, including those living in rural communities that are especially vulnerable to extreme weather events.
We are also supporting government-led recovery efforts by providing supplies and resources to frontline workers and essential services assisting affected communities.
Together with our partners, we remain committed to delivering healthcare, rehabilitation and community support to those who may otherwise be left behind.
