Equip a Lab in Nepal

You can help equip a lab in Nepal dedicated to leprosy and skin diseases. None of the leprosy hospitals have this facility. You can help make this a first. Setting up this facility will help save over $17k per year in samples being sent to India for tests. It will help set the gold standard for testing.

There are no histopathology labs in Nepal dedicated to leprosy and skin diseases. None of the leprosy hospitals have this facility. The request is to provide equipment that will be incorporated into a lab at Anandaban hospital and will service around over 600 biopsy samples that are currently being sent to India, saving around $17,000 per year.

You can help provide funding for the first histopathology laboratory being set up at Anandaban hospital. The lab will be able to process all skin/leprosy samples from leprosy hospitals in Nepal.

Supporting this project will ensure government approval for lab plan.

You will help provide the purchase of all seven items of equipment.

You will help to set up the lab so that it can process samples/tests on site. This means that samples will no longer need to be sent to India.

Your support will help to deliver substantial savings enabling the processing of skin samples independently rather than sending them to India.

Setting up a histopathology lab at Anandaban Hospital will make a big impact!

It will save over $17k a year.

It will also enable training to be done thereby enhancing capacity at Anandaban. And there’s possibly the opportunity for commercial processing that may bring extra income to the hospital.

We look forward to sharing with you the impact God makes through you on the lives of people with leprosy.
