Cuppa for a Cure – Toowoomba
March 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
You are invited to a Cuppa for a Cure to help stop leprosy.
Antonio (pictured) first noticed the signs of leprosy in 2004. He had developed a bad ulcer. He eventually received treatment, but has nerve function loss in his hands and feet.
Antonio has helped support other people affected by leprosy as a member of a self care group. He’s also had the opportunity to earn money, facilitated by being a member of the self care group.
The Toowoomba Leprosy Support Group is holding a Cuppa for a Cure to Help Stop Leprosy. Proceeds will go to supporting two people with a disability to become employed.
Merchandise is available for purchase from McKean Handicraft Dept, Chiang Mai, and The Leprosy Mission Catalogue.
