Thousands of supporters will be praying for people affected by leprosy and disability — it’s not too late to join with them... He listens to our prayers. His will for His people is to “proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matt 10: 7 – 8) Can you give some extra time to pray this month? We invite you to participate with us and thousands of other supporters for focused, guided prayer over the National Prayer Weekend from 24-25 August. You can pray personally, gather some friends for an hour or pray the whole weekend. You can order your free personal The Leprosy Mission Prayer Card by calling us on 1800 537 767. Why not pop it in your Bible or on the fridge so it’s easy to grab when you are ready to pray. You can also order a free Prayer Guidebook. The Guidebook contains an overview of some of the projects in each country, prayers and a Bible study. You are also welcome to pray with us for an hour at The Leprosy Mission Australia office, 37-39 Ellingworth Parade, Box Hill, Victoria, on Saturday 24 August at 10am followed by morning tea.
