Trek for Treatment 2014:

Saturday 25 October to Monday 10 November. Cost $3,750 pp (ex Melb)

Mountain walks above the Kathmandu Valley provide outstanding Himalayan panoramas and sunrises not to be missed. The trek will provide an interesting blend of culture, incredible mountain scenery and relaxation.
This tour offers a compact insight into the midlands of Nepal and its people. The Annapurna - Poon Hill region offers the trekker spectacular views of the vast terraced valley and the beautiful peaks. Trekkers will journey through beautiful rice paddy fields, cross suspension bridges, pass through trival vilages and dense forests of oak, rhododendrons and bamboo and onto magnificent summer pastures.
The views of the mountains Annapurna 1, 2, 3 & 4 plus the 'Fish Tail' are spectacular!
In addition to this memorable task, participants will spend time at Anandaban hospital. There you will see how the Leprosy Mission is making a difference in the lives of people affected by leprosy.
There will be opportunities to participate in a variety of medical and healthcare activites, as well as meeting and interacting with the staff and patients.
It will be a life changing experience!

This is a fundraising tour, participants will raise a minimum of $2,000 for the rehabilitation projects in Nepal.
