Upstream 50km Challenge - 2012

Docklands to Donvale

All funds raised will go to support projects in East Timor:
- Capacity Building: Training health workers in leprosy detection and treatment.
- Community Based Rehabilitation: Rehabilitation Programs and improving the quality of life of people affected by leprosy and disability.
- Children's education
- Improving health knowledge through health promotion activities.
- Improved living conditions for people affected by leprosy and/or disability.

The walk takes place along a 50km route in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, making use of the scenic walking routes along the Yarra River. Four checkpoints break the 50km into 10km sections.
 
Where?
Teams start at Docklands and finish at Donvale Christian College for a celebration and awards.
This is a team Event.
 
What's involved?
50km walk or run from Docklands to Donvale along the picturesque Yarra River.

Enter as an individual, 50km team (2-6 people) or relay team (2-10 people). Each relay participant must walk a minimum of 30km.

Registration fee is $50 and you must collect a minimum of $200 in donations per participant.  The rego fee is tax deductible and goes towards the $200 you must raise.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible - 100% of donations go directly to the beneficiaries.
