Ride For OpportunityMatthew 2; 35 – 40
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me”….. The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me”.

Ride for opportunity is a bike ride from Brisbane to Bagara to be held from January 2nd – 5th 2010. The distance is 593km with an average day of 148km

The ride will follow the old Cobb & Co postal route from Brisbane to Toowoomba passing through some beautiful country towns. From Toowoomba the ride will head North West towards the Bunya Mountains. Once over the Bunya Mountains we continue North through Kingaroy & Murgon before turning East at Ban Ban Springs and heading into Bundaberg. From Bundaberg we will head out to the coast at Bagara for a swim and relax knowing that the riding is behind us.

This ride is to raise money for The Leprosy Mission to continue their work in Nepal. Although the time the riders spend together will be enjoyable, our ultimate desire is to help the aid workers in Nepal and to see an end to Leprosy.

All riders are required to raise as much money as they can to help support The Leprosy Mission. Please support us as we support others.
