1000km Walk

April 21st - June 5th, 2010

74 year old Alan Alexander has walked the Bibbulmun Trail from the south-west coast of Australia nearly 1000 kilometres north to Perth.  An avid bushwalker for many years, Alan last year raised $50,000 for The Leprosy Mission's Cedar project.  Unfortunately he was unable to complete the walk last year due to illness, so he came back to finish the trail this year.  A 46 day walk which trailed the beautiful rocky coastline of Australia's west coast, he camped over night along the trail with a few supporters joining him along the way.
