There’s a shadow that hangs over leprosy in Nepal – as dark as the cave where this widow was forced to seek shelter and refuge.
Neema had to escape not just from the elements, but also from the stigma in her community that forces leprosy sufferers into the shadows.

The Leprosy Mission seeks out and cares for people with leprosy. We work to bring them out of the shadows and give them a new life.
Please enable The Leprosy Mission to bring light into more lives through the right medical attention and ongoing support and care.

See how your support will let the light shine... The Leprosy Mission Australia works with our neighbours in Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste as well as countries such as Thailand, Nepal, DR Congo and India. Our mission is to let the light shine, by touching leprosy lives as Jesus did, and turning the support from people like you into practical love and care.
