The Leprosy Mission Australia is governed by nine board members from various fields of expertise within the community.  They include representatives from financial, medical, field service, promotional & marketing and human relationship fields.  The board oversees the Chief Executive Officer, approves strategic plans and budgets and determines TLMA policy.

The Board also ensures proper audit functions and compliance in legal, statutory and ethical matters.
